Ciarán Pasi is a self-taught filmmaker from Glasgow, Scotland.
His work explores memory, masculinity and loss. He has worked across both documentary and drama, believing the story - and how best to realise it - reveals the form.
His films have been commissioned by Screen Scotland, the British Film Institute, LUX and the BBC.
He is currently working on a number of short dramas alongside writing his debut feature film, which explores a young man’s journey through grief and ptsd.
Throughout 2024 he was mentored by Shane Meadows (This Is England; The Virtues) and is as influenced by Sidney Lumet as he is 2Pac and Seamus Deane.
Aside from his own work he has written and developed films & series for NETFLIX, APPLE, Nike, ESPN and more.
